Dear Cashell Families,
As the Holiday season approaches and we begin to look forward to spending time with family and friends, please consider making a food donation to help a family in need in our community. This year’s food drive will benefit Olney Help; an organization that provides both food and financial assistance to families who live in the Olney area.
Students may bring their non-perishable food donations into school and place them in the collection box outside their classroom. Many of the food items listed as ‘most wanted’ on the back of this letter are inexpensive; perhaps students could be encouraged to use some of their allowance or savings to buy a food item they think another child may enjoy. Teachers will also be accepting food donations during parent teacher conferences. You give them a can of beans, they give you a report card!
We appreciate that these are financially uncertain times for many people but your contribution, however small, will make a difference.
We will accept donations from Wednesday November 5th thru Friday November 14th.
