The Third Annual ALL KIDS COUNT PICNIC

For All Who Care about Special Education,
With a Special Tribute to the late Blair Ewing

WHO?
Families interested in special education in Montgomery County, and those concerned about kids with special needs, will gather for this third annual picnic and networking event, sponsored by a broad array of organizations.

Special event this year:  honoring the legacy of the late Blair Ewing, the longtime champion for special kids, who served on the State and Montgomery County Boards of Education.  Hear fond tributes by Board and County officials, Maryland NAACP, and MCCPTA.

WHEN?
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2009 (Rain or Shine), 3:00 to 6:00 PM
Special tribute to Blair Ewing is 4:30 p.m.

WHERE?
ROCK CREEK CHURCH, 19100 MUNCASTER ROAD, DERWOOD, MD

WHAT ELSE?
Fun activities for all ages and abilities, including teens and young adults, from 3 to 5:30.  Live entertainment by musician Bill Jenkins; T-shirt tie-dying; crafts; games; Sno-cones; face painting; Moonbounce and more.  Networking opportunities for parents.  Dessert at 5:30.

This is a FREE event.  Donations are welcome.   Hot dogs, drinks and dessert provided.    Families:  please bring a side dish to share.  Optional:  bring a chair, and a t-shirt to tie-dye.
